Eliminating foreign component dependencies to bypass border frictions.

Every so often, an event shows exactly why immersive technology has moved from “nice to have” to the way serious brands command a room. The Maruti Suzuki Annual Vendor Conference 2026 was one of them.
Held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, under the theme “Powering the Future — Agility, Technology & Global Quality,” the conference brought India's automotive supply chain together with one clear marker on the wall: get ready to support 4 million vehicles a year by 2030.
Here's how a room full of suppliers was handed an ambitious roadmap — and how that roadmap was brought to life on stage with a HoloBox holographic display built for a corporate event of national scale.
The timing was everything. The event landed right after Maruti Suzuki posted an all-time monthly sales high of 242,000+ units — momentum that raised the stakes for every partner in the room.
But ambition came with pressure. Leadership was candid about the headwinds facing the supply chain:

The brief to suppliers
Four mandates set the agenda for the day.
Eliminating foreign component dependencies to bypass border frictions.
Moving from foreign parent blueprints to independent engineering hubs inside India.
Leaning hard on Value Analysis and Value Engineering to strip out cost.
De-leveraging balance sheets and holding strong cash reserves.
Recognised on stage
Several suppliers were recognised on stage for progress against the mandates.
