Rrahul Sethi, Founder Metaverse 911, was invited to be part of an exclusive roundtable discussion titled “Navigating IndiaAI Mission: The Startups Perspective,” hosted under The Startup Edge initiative by Chase Advisors in collaboration with TiE India.
The high-level discussion brought together policy leaders, industry experts, investors, and startup founders to explore how India’s AI Mission can accelerate innovation and inclusive growth across emerging technology sectors—particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), Metaverse, and Extended Reality (XR).
During the discussion, Rrahul Sethi emphasized the critical need for XR and Metaverse technologies to be integrated into India’s national AI roadmap, ensuring that immersive technologies become foundational to the country’s digital future. His contribution focused not only on highlighting startup challenges but also on proposing actionable policy-level interventions to support India’s rapidly growing immersive ecosystem.
Addressing a question on the regulatory complexities of the emerging Metaverse ecosystem, Rrahul outlined the pressing need for India to develop GDPR-like data protection laws, explainable AI frameworks, and blockchain-based digital identity systems to safeguard user privacy, prevent misinformation, and ensure creator neutrality.
He urged the government to promote ethical innovation, sandbox testing environments, and digital literacy programs, which can help build a safe, inclusive, and thriving Metaverse ecosystem aligned with India’s national AI goals.
On overcoming the computational challenges of delivering real-time, immersive experiences, Rrahul shared how Metaverse 911 leverages edge computing, AI model optimization, and adaptive rendering pipelines to create scalable, energy-efficient Metaverse deployments.
He further stressed the importance of cloud collaborations and green data centers powered by renewable energy to ensure that India’s AI-Metaverse infrastructure is both sustainable and globally competitive.
